Who’s your rock star? Rather than focusing on a new product, the 2009 “Sponsors of Tomorrow” ad campaign celebrates what makes Intel different culture, personality, heroes — and ways Intel has helped change the world for over 40 years.

have attractive people, with jobs, families, etc. talk about how hiv/AIDS has effected their lives. the general public expect people with HIV/AIDS to appear dirty, disease-infested, and homeless with no family or support. show them that ANYONE and i mean ANYONE can contract this terrible disease.
Study the last several issues of the mag you are going to advertise in. Check to see which ads appear over and over again, and which ads are placed only once. That will give you a clear indication of what works and what doesn't work in that particular periodical. Companies will not continue to run the same ad over and over again if it is not producing. Likewise, an ad will be pulled immediately if it did not produce the desired results.
I'm not a big fan of "throw in lots of color", "go bigger", "use lots of pictures and white space" – in other words, cookie cutter solutions. I'm more a fan of using what has been PROVEN to work for that particular audience.
Magazines spend hundreds of thousands of dollars a year testing headlines and covers. Use the results of their research to see what works for their audience – they know better than any of us can tell you here (especially since we don't have more details, which I understand). Study the covers and see what headline teasers they are using. Trust me, they are proven sellers.
Also, keep in mind that unless your ad is strictly for branding purposes, copy ALWAYS outsells pictures and white space. Great copy can sell ice to Eskimos and cigarettes to the Surgeon General! Best wishes!
Want a true organization in favor of animal rights? Support the ASPCA instead. They do not sabotage pet stores, but ensure they comply with the law. They do not blow up buildings and kill people when they disagree, merely educate and enforce the law.
AND THEY DID NOT CENSOR STEVE IRWIN, siding with Greer's insults after his death, the reason I removed all my Peta stickers against animal abuse from my work area.
At least Steve Irwin's fans do not go around killing those who hate crocodiles…
The NA union will be the worst thing that has ever happened to the US and Canada, and the best thing that has ever happened to Mexico. Tens of millions of Mexicans will come to the US and Canada to work and live. Millions of good jobs will go to Mexico bringing their wages up while the wages for Americans and Canadians will decrease. The US and Canada will look more like Mexico; with a tiny wealthy class, a small middle class, and a huge class of poor people. This is the result that the political elite who rule Canada, the US , and Mexico want.
Craigslist is free and you can add additional digital and obviously colored pictures in the ads, with an elaborate description of the home. It's a win win!
The more they are used, the more commonplace they become, and the less impact they have.
