What is Tom Delonge’s Method of Guitar Playing?
Tom Delonge is the Guitarist and lead singer for the Pop/Punk band Blink-182, and the lead singer of Angles and Airwaves. I’ve been listening to Blink-182 for ever, and know how to play all of their songs, I’ve noticed that almost all of their songs follow the same “Theory” or “Method” and I’m not sure what to call it.
I’d like to know what musical theory it follows.

Most of his earlier riffs are just simple plays on standard minor or sometimes major scales, like in Dammit and songs like that.
But in the later Blink career he’s been playing a lot more chord progressions, again, nothing too complex but giving quite a different sound to the early stuff.
I don’t really know what you would class his playing style as tbh, just sorta pop-punk/alternative.
