can the guitar hero world tour drum set be connected to the computer for an electronic drum set?

i was wondering if i could connect my guitar hero drum set to my computer. its the ps2 version but the drum set is usb and i record music. so i want use the drumset for recording i know there is a midi port on the set

The game manufacturers make it kind of hard to to do that right out of the box. I have suggested this numerous times so I’m beginning to sound like a broken record, get the Ion Audio Drum Rocker. It’s way better for the game and real drumming. It will let you play way beyond the 1 year warranty that the guitar hero drum set has.
