What are your toddler’s favorite toys?
OK. My son had like 4 totes full of toys. there may be only a few of them that he will actually play with. But his favorite toys are plastic butter bowls, plastic spatulas, our shoes, his own shoes, socks,(when we make them into hand puppets) his daddy’s guitar, our cell phones, the tv remote and pringles cans.
Is this normal for a child to be amused at the simplest of things? I mean, the grandparents have spent a fortune of movies and toys, but the only toys he wants to play with is a truck that costed a dollar, balls that bounce, and books. But the things that he likes the most is the box that the crackers came out of or the case that the dvd came from. Now what is up with that? Do your kids do this same thing?
Yep, most children prefer the simple toys. When you think about it the toys with batteries don’t really do much and don’t encourage much imagination. In other words, they get boring fast!
Most toddlers love dolls, toy cars, balls and books. None of which need batteries.
