Will Green Day Rockband be compatible with Guitar Hero?

I am really excited for Green Day Rockband, I mostly have only Guitar Hero controllers. Will I be able to use those for it? Beetles Rockband was compatible with Gutiar Hero, but will this be?

No, Greenday Rockband will send the #33344.iop code to the signal part in the xbox/ps3, the guitar hero controllers take the basic codes called #22344,iou the Greenday controllers will take these codes….. if you wanted you could pay £60/$100 to privately get your GH controller to work…
they meant to change the codes from the GH and the GDRB controller so you would use their one instead, basically i know this because i review games and i studied the parts..

PS, the xbox signal sender only sends upto #50076.IOPLK, in the near future it will need to be updated when NATAL is released

PS3 WILL NOT NEED to be updated when later versions of Rockband s created because it Sends up to #55555555999.IOPKU, this is a smart move for sony, because the Part on the motherboard is named #55555555999.IOPKU.KML.SP41N.SONYBRAViA

i still do not understand why it has the .SP41N.SONYBRAViA part, possibly becuase it was produced in spain and is taken from the Sony Bravia TV Range
